Bock

Hailing back from the middle ages in the town from Einbeck in Germany, bock was then a dark, malty, lightly hopped ale first but Munich brewers in the 17th century transformed bock to the new lager style of brewing. Stronger than a typical lager, bock is dark amber in color with robust malt flavors and very light hoppiness.
