Barrel-aged wild dark ale with trees bark.
Bast is a bushy, mossy, woody beer with birch bark, spruce, Scots pine and blackthorn branches with blossoms. Dark, soft acid, a little vanilla, a lot of nature.
The long wood maturation of 14 months gives warm, rich flavors and a beautiful layering to the beer. The earthy aftertaste lingers for a long time. Experience autumn in a glass.
Bast is a collaboration with Roald Sooijs, known for Flower Gin by Sooijs.
